- Pregnant and New Parents
This is how the Club began - in each other's sitting rooms with cups of coffee, lots of bumps and even more babies! For purely practical reasons these meetings are intended for parents with babies who are not yet crawling, not many homes with new babies are set up for toddlers.
There is usually one meeting each month, and parents offer their homes as venues. It is invaluable to see twins breast-feeding whilst you are still pregnant, for instance, and if you are breast-feeding yourself; it's wonderful to have a room of other supportive mums, unfazed by need to expose yourself!
- Regular Meetings
Twice a year there is a free party for all members' children. The winter party is usually held at the Church Rooms, with an entertainer. In the summer we have in recent years used another venue with indoor and outdoor space for a morning or afternoon of arts, crafts and toys.
- Weekend Events
We have occasional weekend meetings for walking, playing or eating together, at Highgate Woods or Kenwood House for instance. Just turn up.
